Thanks and no problem, love to hear that! :)
The display case for our family bible from 1883 is gorgeous, just what I was looking for. The price was a bit more than I had originally hoped, but in this case, it was worth it. It arrived well packaged, with an easy to follow assembly guide, and a dust cloth to safely remove fingerprints or dust. With the lighting in our bookshelves, the case and bible are highlighted.
I am happy that I chose to order from Better Display Cases and will be ordering 2 more in the near future.
This model of a Navy helicopter is not a plastic kit. It was an award that was hand carved out of wood by one of the other pilots in our squadron. It means a lot to me.
For years, I displayed the model openly. At some point, it suffered damage to the fragile tail rotor and was stored in a cupboard for several years. A couple months ago I found a model enthusiast that could repair it. I swapped a bottle of wine for the work, but I knew that, to prevent a repeat of the damage, I had to find a proper display case.
I spent many hours searching online and finally found the Better Display Cases website. They had the perfect display case in their phenomenal selection list.
I opted for the model with two clear lucite base plates. The upper one is slightly smaller than the bottom one, which provides for perfect alignment of the mirrored cover. The plates are separated by silver (my choice) risers. The risers come with black plastic liners, which add a nice design touch and they also protect the bottom plate.
I give this company a 5 star rating in product selection, product quality and customer service.
I bought this awesome case to display my dads overstuffed Bible at his celebration of life. It was perfect! It will also be perfect to preserve such a great treasure for years to come.
It's beautiful. Put a 1st print edition of Breakfast Of Champions from 1973 autographed by Kurt Vonnegut Jr in it. Only feedback was I thought it was scratched up but it was the high quality packaging and film that was. Literally was about to send photos and tell them I'm returning it but when I realized their was a protective layer I needed to peel off I was impressed. Also if you get the wall mount there's a base that comes that you don't need so I thought it didn't fit the machined hole for the bolts and had to do some further research to put the puzzle together. But I like that I have the option to display it in a different way even though I bought the wall mount. Kudos, very nice display. Never bought anything from them before, and if I had a need in the future wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
I love the display box with the riser, however, i did not know that once the riser is in you lose space. I needed about 1 1/2 to 2 inches more so that i would not ruin the corners of my family bible which is about 110 yrs old. We decided to put a book & covered it in black tape with a magicians pad on the top. Now it is perfect & the bible is not lying on the bolt knobs of the riser. It looks great!!!! I love this box with the mirror even though i had to make a few slight adjustments.

Hi, thanks for the review and for your efforts to make it work! We try to put that information about spacing of the riser caps on our webpage but I know it can be difficult to find. Anyway, thanks again; glad it worked out!
