This display case will make your memorabilia stand out and provide protection from damage caused by dust, spills, fingerprints, light or simply something falling on top of it. These cases are constructed of 5mm or 0.197-inch crystal clear, durable high clarity acrylic, not cheap plastic. The front and top of the case are made from one piece of acrylic (plexiglas), giving an aesthetically pleasing rollover appearance with fewer seams.
The table top version has a clear or mirrored removable back piece which allows the memorabilia to be easily inserted and rubber feet on the bottom to prevent scratching your shelf or table. The wall mount version has a clear/black/white removable back piece with wall mounts (vertical or horizontal) which allows the memorabilia to be easily inserted and gives you the option of displaying your memorabilia in the case and mounted to the wall. The case pictured (10.5" x 10.5" x 14.5") is the first slide-back case I've purchased from Better Display Cases. This case is the newest addition to four slightly smaller non-slide cases I purchased earlier. Like the others, this slide-back case is of excellent quality. To complement the vintage Chinese porcelain figurine, I finished the bottom of the case in lilac-colored felt and covered the slide- back in handmade art paper. I'm very pleased with my latest purchase from BDC!

The case looks fantastic and is nicely curved. The tolerance on the glass panel that slides down to be the back is very tight, when I first pulled the panel out it felt stuck and cracked the bottom corner of the case which isn't a big problem. (I'm glad the glass is strong and stayed in one piece). I rubbed a bit of lubricant in the channel the back slides in and it moves easily now. Just wanted to note a small upset and give a heads up on what is otherwise a very nice case that was packed thoughtfully and made with obvious care. This is the nicest case I have now and is definitely worth the price, tldr is to be careful when first opening and enjoy!

Store owner replied: Aww, thanks for the nice review and I'm sorry you had that issue with the slideback. It is a very tricky thing to make as it has to be "just right." Not too wide and not too narrow. And actually sometimes it's impossible to make "perfect" because the acrylic itself may have slight variances in thickness so that it's impossible to make it perfect on all sides to slide perfectly out. Thanks so much for taking care of the issue as you did. We are changing things a bit to help with this issue. But that's a whole nother story. Just noting that we are aware of it and working to make it "better." Thanks for being a great customer! Mo

We have family heirloom pieces protected and beautifully displayed in the clear acrylic cases. Your product is quality! We are so glad we found your web site! Just a few thoughts…for wall mount cases, it may have been a bit easier to hang if my husband had a pattern for the screw placements. Also, for the vertical display cases, a top section that slides on, off and into place would make it much easier to get to the pieces inside. That way we wouldn’t have to remove the entire acrylic box from the wall to each time we needed to get to the inside contents… I have one more piece to display. I will definitely order another case in the near future. Thanks!

Once again highly impressed with my purchase. Ordered a large squid beak online. I know, that’s a weird thing to buy. However, my brother has been wanting one for quite some time. He wanted a giant squid one, but, unfortunately, there are probably only like three on the planet in human possession. I'd have to break into a university to get one, and I'd likely fail miserably. My body would end up being """donated""" to a car company to use as a crash test dummy, or as a cadaver for the lowest-scoring med students. The beak I ended up buying is far, far more common- coming from a very large Humboldt squid. This species is frequently caught to be eaten in Florida and California (according to Wikipedia I think,) but those caught are usually smaller. Despite the beak coming from a big boi, it was very fragile (about like the fingernail of someone who doesn't drink Sunny D.) I knew it would need to be behind a quality, durable case. I had an extremely positive experience with my previous purchase- a protective case for the 1st English translated edition of my favorite book. The book isn't in the best shape, so I'm glad I went with a great display case to compensate. I didn't even hesitate to shop around for the squid beak's case. The acrylic could be mistaken for museum-quality glass, yet feels (and obviously is) more durable to the touch. I discreetly glued the beak and stand together, and attached it to the case with a removable adhesive. I am confident that, if my brother decided to chuck the case and its contents at me, the beak and case could still be displayed shortly after- intact and unbroken. In contrast, a case made of glass would shatter like the bottles do. Better Display Cases once again knocked my socks off with this product. My expectations were high due to my previous purchase, and were indeed met. I hope my brother enjoys this when I give it to him on his birthday. He has shown interest in buying some cases for the weird trinkets around his house, so hopefully this review will be buried under other positive reviews by the time he does so.

The Better Display Cases are perfect for the American Girl dolls. I have 3 of these cases. They are high quality, fully assembled, and easy to insert the dolls with one side that slides to open and close the case. The dolls display beautifully in the cases. I have a 4th doll that is a bit larger than the American Girl doll and can not fit in the case. If it could fit, I would have purchased a 4th case. I am very happy and pleased with these cases.

I am thrilled to have found this Display Cases company owned and managed by a Military Veteran!!! Thank You for your Service to our country!!! The options of wall-mounted or table top display cases allows for easy organization. The options of clear, black, white or mirror back provides contrast to draw attention to the displayed item(s). The multiple size options allow one to display a multitude of collectibles. Shipping is Super Fast and everything arrives packed VERY WELL to assure display case arrives intact and in pristine condition!! Did I mention how Crystal Clear and sturdy the acrylic is on these display cases?!! The email Instructions Videos are very thorough and informative on how to unpack your display case, care for it, etc. I am so thrilled with these display cases that I have already bought 3 different cases and plan to purchase another in the next few days. Once again highly impressed with my purchase. Ordered a large squid beak online. I know, that’s a weird thing to buy. However, my brother has been wanting one for quite some time. He wanted a giant squid one, but, unfortunately, there are probably only like three on the planet in human possession. I'd have to break into a university to get one, and I'd likely fail miserably. My body would end up being """donated""" to a car company to use as a crash test dummy, or as a cadaver for the lowest-scoring med students. The beak I ended up buying is far, far more common- coming from a very large Humboldt squid. This species is frequently caught to be eaten in Florida and California (according to Wikipedia I think,) but those caught are usually smaller. Despite the beak coming from a big boi, it was very fragile (about like the fingernail of someone who doesn't drink Sunny D.) I knew it would need to be behind a quality, durable case. I had an extremely positive experience with my previous purchase- a protective case for the 1st English translated edition of my favorite book. The book isn't in the best shape, so I'm glad I went with a great display case to compensate. I didn't even hesitate to shop around for the squid beak's case. The acrylic could be mistaken for museum-quality glass, yet feels (and obviously is) more durable to the touch. I discreetly glued the beak and stand together, and attached it to the case with a removable adhesive. I am confident that, if my brother decided to chuck the case and its contents at me, the beak and case could still be displayed shortly after- intact and unbroken. In contrast, a case made of glass would shatter like the bottles do. Better Display Cases once again knocked my socks off with this product. My expectations were high due to my previous purchase, and were indeed met. I hope my brother enjoys this when I give it to him on his birthday. He has shown interest in buying some cases for the weird trinkets around his house, so hopefully this review will be buried under other positive reviews by the time he does so.

The Better Display Cases are perfect for the American Girl dolls. I have 3 of these cases. They are high quality, fully assembled, and easy to insert the dolls with one side that slides to open and close the case. The dolls display beautifully in the cases. I have a 4th doll that is a bit larger than the American Girl doll and can not fit in the case. If it could fit, I would have purchased a 4th case. I am very happy and pleased with these cases.

Here’s the first one I purchased from BDC for my Hula Barbie. It fits perfectly! Once I placed my order, I was thrilled that I received it the very next day.
