After his second at-bat of the game, John Farrell (Manager of the Red Sox) pulled David Ortiz from the bases for a pinch runner. As he started to walk back to the dugout, a stadium full of opposing fans gave Ortiz a standing ovation. This is perhaps the last time we'll ever see him on the Yankee field I'm glad they gave him the send-off he deserved.
Thanks 'Big Papi' for an amazing career, we're going to miss you!
