Gabby Petito Foundation Fundraiser

Giving back to the community has always been important to us at Better Display Cases. We value being able to help different communities in whatever way we can. Usually this involves donating a display case that the charity can use in a fundraising auction of the case with an autographed helmet or ball (that a sports team has donated). It's a great deal because, as we always say, a display case greatly increases the perceived value of whatever it displays. So, the charity can raise far more money leveraging our display case than the case costs us.

Giving back to the community has always been important to us at Better Display Cases. We value being able to help worthy charitable causes in whatever way we can.

Such was the case when we donated a case to a charity fundraiser for the Suffolk County Court Officers Benevolent Association. They held a golf outing, and our display case was used to showcase a custom painted pair of golf shoes. They were nice enough to send us T-shirts as a "thank you" for the contribution.

Recently the Gabby Petito Foundation contacted us about contributing a case for their fundraiser. The foundation was started to help organizations who locate missing persons and provide support to organizations which help victims of domestic abuse/violence through education, spreading awareness, and prevention strategies. You can read more about the foundation in the nice "thank you" letter they sent us.

The fundraiser was held at Topgolf in Holtsville, New York where our case was on display containing a New York Jets Helmet signed by Leonard Williams. Williams was the 6th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He went on to play defensive end for the Jets from 2015 until 2019 when he was traded to the Giants.

The case that we donated was our Full-Size Football Helmet display case. These are one of our most sought-after cases and we were eager to donate one in support of the event.

As seen in the picture above, the signed helmet sits in one of our clear display cases, paired with a clear platform base and red risers.

If you are holding a charity fundraising event and believe our case could help benefit your event, reach out to us through our contact page here. We would love to help!
