What Creepy Things Will You Display?

It's spooky season y'all! Which is probably the answer as to why we've received a 200% increase in requests for a vacuum-sealed severed human head display case. And so, in the spirit of Halloween (not the store), here is this tasteful, wholesome image...of a shrunken head in a display case.

While this was not our intended use for the Medium Acrylic Display Case this shrunken head is being displayed in, we were very impressed by it. It's not every day you see a shrunken head in a display case...

You know how a shrunken head is made? Well, we didn't to be honest...so with a quick Google search this is what we came up with. The process of creating a shrunken head begins with removing the skull from the neck. An incision is made on the back of the ear and all the skin and flesh is removed from the cranium. The mouth is held together with three palm pins. Fat from the flesh of the head is removed. Then a wooden ball is placed under the flesh in order to keep the form. The flesh is then boiled in water that has been saturated with a number of herbs. The head is then dried with hot rocks and sand, while molding it to retain its human features. The skin is then rubbed down with charcoal ash. And there you have it, a how-to on shrunken head making. As you can see though, the amount of single-minded commitment it takes to make one should be reason enough to put it on display.

The display case measures up to about 15 inches tall, providing just enough...head room... The clearness of the acrylic will provide an unobstructed view of the item inside, and it a clear view out. 👀 There are several different slide back options available: 

- Ghost white

- Dark Black

- Mirror (hopefully you see your image in the reflection, if not than perhaps avoid large amounts of garlic and wooden stakes)

- Clear (good for making sure nothing is lurking on the other side)
